Join us for training and be part of a successful local Club,there's no obligation.

You will be coached to a high standard in a friendly well run squad.

U6 TRAINING STARTS 13th SEPTEMBER 2012
Under 6 is year 1 from September 2012
Training will be every Thursday, 6-7pm at Henwick Worthy Playing Field, Thatcham.
Please be sure to bring shin pads and a drink.

 2011/2012 - WELL DONE TO:
  • Our Under 9 Amber team  - Peter Hoseman Youth League NAVY League CHAMPIONS

 2010/2011 - WELL DONE TO:

  • Our Mens team who have been promoted to Newbury District Sunday League Division 1.
  • Our Under 17 team won the South Chiltern Minor League Division 2.
  • Our Under 16 team were runners up in the Peter Houseman Youth League Cup and WINNERS of the Fair Play award.
  • Our Under 15 team were runners up in the South Chiltern Youth Leage Knock-out Cup.
  • Our Under 14 team were runners up in the Peter Houseman Youth League Division One.
  • Our Under 12 team were runners up in the Peter Houseman Youth League Division One.
  • Our Under 10 Blue team were runners up in the Peter Houseman Youth League Cup and WINNERS of the Fair Play award.
  • Our Under 10 Yellow team were runners up in the Peter Houseman Youth League Yellow Division.

2009/2010 - WELL DONE TO:

  • Our Mens team won the Newbury & District Sunday Football League Vic French Knock-Out Cup and also secured runners up in the Newbury District Sunday League Division 2.
  • Our Under 16C team won the South Chiltern Minor League Division 3 remaining unbeaten in the league all season.
  • Our Under 14 team won the South Chiltern Minor League Sponsors Cup and also won the South Chiltern Minor League Division 2 title remaining unbeaten in the league all season.
  • Our Under 12A team for securing runners up in the Peter Houseman Youth League Division 1.

Club Membership

  • Our ONE OFF membership fee offers great value for money for approx 34 weeks of organised healthy activity and we DO NOT seek additional training or match fees. We also offer reduced rates for new members who join during the season.
  • For a FULL season Membership:
    • FREE for U6 players.
    • £30 for Under 7.
    • £50 for Under 8.
    • £70 for *Under 9 (see note 1 below) & above.
    • Reduced fee for siblings:
      • FREE for Under 7
      • £30 for Under 8
      • £50 for Under 9 & above. 
  • We provide organised training during the week and play matches on Sunday.  
    Our volunteer Managers and Coaches are qualified to FA Standard and are CRB checked.
  • We are affiliated to the Berks & Bucks FA; our teams play in the South Chiltern Minor League based in Reading, and the Peter Houseman Youth League around Basingstoke. Our teams also compete in League Cup and County Cup competitions.
  • Our younger age groups take part in small 7 A-Side games whilst older teams from **U11 (see note 2 below), play 11 A-Side. Our Under 6, Under 7 & Under 8 football is *** non competitive (see 3 note below).
  • PLEASE NOTE:
    • * 1. To be able to play Under 9 'competitive' football a player MUST have attained the age of 8 and be under the age of 9 by midnight 31st August in the playing season. 
    •  ** 2. To be able to play Under 11 youth football a player MUST have attained the age of 10 and be under the age of 11 by midnight 31st August in the playing season.
    •   ***3. In this context 'non competetive' means that teams do not play in league or cup competitions,  match results are not recorded for league position and SHOULD NOT be reported in the press.  Players in these age groups receive a momento for participation at the end of the season and at our 6 A Side tournament.
